Community Litter Picking

Keep Ilkley Tidy: Monthly Community Litter Pick

Love where you live? Join us for our regular Community Litter Pick and help keep Ilkley’s streets and green spaces sparkling. It’s a great way to get some fresh air, meet fellow residents, and make a visible difference in our town in just sixty minutes.

Whether you’re a solo volunteer, a family looking for a meaningful Sunday activity, or a group of friends, everyone is welcome. We provide a friendly, informal atmosphere where the goal is simple: leave Ilkley better than we found it.

Equipment: Litter pickers, hoops, and bags are usually provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them!

Wear: Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. We recommend bringing your own pair of gardening or work gloves.

Impact: In just one hour, our collective effort removes a significant amount of waste from our local environment, protecting our wildlife and keeping the town beautiful for everyone.

Please email litterfreeilkley@gmail.com if you are interested in joining us.
