Pat’s Party: Music, Community & Making a Difference

What started as one woman’s vision to help those in need has grown into Ben Rhydding’s favourite summer tradition. Pat’s Party is more than just a music festival; it’s a legacy of hope that has raised over £187,000 for life-changing causes.

Our Impact
While our roots are local, our reach is global. To date, we have proudly supported:

• Save the Children: Our primary beneficiary, receiving the lion’s share of our fundraising to support children in crisis worldwide.
• Local Community: Constant support for the Ben Rhydding Scouts and recent donations of £15,000 to food banks in Bradford and Keighley (2023–2025).
• Global Reach: From building a school in The Gambia to a massive 2022 effort that raised £22,000 to deliver aid to Ukrainian refugees and transport families to safety in Yorkshire.

The Summer Festival
Every year, 500 friends and neighbours gather in a beautiful Ben Rhydding garden for an afternoon of pure joy.

• Family Fun: Children’s entertainment, a thrilling zip wire, and plenty of space to dance.
• Food & Drink: Fully stocked beer and refreshment tents alongside delicious food stalls.

Our Story & Legacy
Twenty-one years ago, Pat Evans founded this group in response to a humanitarian crisis. Though Pat sadly passed away before the second party, her friends made a promise to keep her spirit alive. Two decades later, that promise is stronger than ever.

Get Involved!  Our “loyal band” of volunteers is the engine room of the party. Whether you’re a long-time local or a newcomer, we’d love your help setting up, running the stalls, or tidying up. It’s hard work, but it’s the most rewarding fun you’ll have all summer.
